The Dearborn Optimist Club is encouraging Dearborn students to compose an essay based on the 2015 topic "Optimism Should Be A Priority". The contest is open to all students under age 19 who have not yet graduated from high school. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three Essay Contest entrees. The Dearborn Optimist Club has participated in the Essay Contest for over 40 years.
